red-teaming a Claude Code loop before you ship — for Marketplaces

Fifty adversarial inputs, one afternoon, one Google Doc of findings — the minimum red-team every Claude Code loop needs. Written for Marketplaces teams.

TL;DR

Inputs: prompt-injection payloads, edge cases, refuse-baiting. Score each: did it leak, did it mis-execute, did it refuse cleanly. Fix the reds before deploy. For Marketplaces, the KPI to watch is listing quality, dispute rate, time-to-first-transaction.

Prerequisites

  • An Anthropic API key with access to claude-sonnet-4-5 (planner) and claude-haiku-4 (patcher)
  • A running locker (`locker create claude-code-loop`) with rotation enabled
  • MCP servers reachable: github-mcp, filesystem-mcp (sandboxed), bash-mcp (egress-restricted)
